The following features that I started ‘The Kennel Corner’ and ‘Stage Screen& Radio’ were successful in getting ample advertising which was initiated and brought in by me.  The present ‘Pet or Dog ‘ pages are now carried by all news papers in all three languages.

I wrote the features ‘The Kennel Corner’ ( single page full colour) and ‘Stage Screen & Radio’  (centre page full colour) for two years. All matter, layouts, pictures and artworks for dogs were done by me.

 The Kennel Corner was easily one of the most popular features judging by the reader responses and is now copied in almost every newspaper in all tree languages. The following among my readers I could count eminent persons such as Anne Ranasinghe, Christine Wilson, Carl Muller, Dr. Lester James Peiris, Tissa Abeysekara. The Book the ‘On the fifth day ‘ by Anne Ranasinghe was started with the Kennel Corner .

The other feature ‘Stage Screen & Radio’ enjoyed the readership of even Dr. Lester James Peries, Anne Ranasinghe, Christine Wilson, covering movie actors, singer/groups films about town, and English movies on TV.

    

    I have contributed two pages to the also Children’s Magazine, Happy Islanders Club.
   .I also covered assignments given and also reported on news and business.
